Atlanta has been lucky to find itself with two new sports arenas last year: Mercedes-Benz Stadium and SunTrust Park. The good thing about these venues, is they are perfect for not only sports but concerts as well!
Mercedes-Benz Stadium has already had some all-star announcements for 2018 with Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, and Ed Sheeran on board. SunTrust Park, not to be outdone, has also had some great announcements for 2018! Check out these awesome concerts at SunTrust Park this year!
Zac Brown Band
Country favorites the Zac Brown Band recently announced a three-month summer stadium tour. The three-time Grammy award winners will perform at SunTrust Park this June. This is the first concert at SunTrust Park for 2018. While the band loves to play rock covers, they will also play the hits such as:
- Chicken Fried
- My Old Man
- Knee Deep
- Toes in the Water
Opening for Zac Brown Band is American pop rock band, One Republic.
Def Leppard and Journey
Don’t stop believing! Def Leppard and Journey announced a co-headlining tour spanning the United States. These two iconic bands will make their way across the country to the excitement of 80’s and 90’s fans everywhere. Joe Elliott of Def Leppard says they will play the hits, along with some “new, old material.” Def Leppard is in the process of working on a new album.
Cheap Trick will also join the two band on some shows. Unfortunately, the SunTrust Park show will not feature Cheap Trick, as they will be on tour with Poison at the time.
Jason Aldean, Luke Combs and Laura Alaina
Jason Aldean headlines an all-star tour this summer! Joining Aldean are up and coming stars Luke Combs and Laura Alaina. Combs played multiple sold-out shows in 2017.
The tour is called the “High Noon Neon Tour.” The name comes from a song on Aldean’s upcoming album. “It reminds me of the bars I grew up playing in Georgia when I was getting started. We’re going to bring some of that raw energy out this summer with Luke and Lauren – I know we’re all ready,” he said.
Postgame SunTrust Park Concerts
