The artist famous for popular songs, “Piano Man” and “New York State of Mind” is set to perform at Philips Arena in February 2015. Billy Joel recently announced his 2015 tour and he’s got Georgia on his mind. Joel has not visited Atlanta in more than five years! In 2009, he played more than 20 songs to a sold-out crowd at Philips Arena.
What Songs Will Billy Joel Perform?
Avid music fans are always curious about the set-list before the concert. On his Madision Sqaure Garden tour he’s played some of his most popular songs such as, “The Entertainer,” “Allentown,” and “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song).” Joel is a traditional performer who normally plays an encore of 3-5 songs.
During his MSG show, he’s mixed up the songs that he performs during his encore act, but he always closes out the concert with “Only the Good Die Young.” Here’s a look at a typical set-list for Billy Joel’s current tour. I expect something very similar in Atlanta.

Billy Joel Tickets in Atlanta
Atlanta has seen its fair share of great concerts this year. Sir Paul McCartney was excellent at Philips in October and Stevie Wonder was great this past weekend!
One trend has been consistent when superstar musicans like Billy Joel visit Atlanta. Ticket prices increase as the event approaches. Paul McCartney ticket prices spiked 10-15% in the final week. Fleetwood Mac sold out through the box office and now there are less than 100 tickets on the secondary market. As a result, the average ticket prices $229.
When I see such a dramatic increase in ticket prices as the event nears, I encourage clients to buy tickets quickly! Fortuantely, Billy Joel tickets in Atlanta are not that expensive, yet. Great deals are available in the terrace section. Front row seats in the 200s are available for as low as $200.
