Choosing the right seat for a professional NBA game or concert can be confusing! Where should I sit? What will my view be like? Am I getting the best deal for my money? NBA Seating Options at Philips Arena

Club Seats

Clubs: Sections: 101-107

All club seats are within the first 19 rows of the floor or side-court between the baskets. Club seats include access to Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club & Center Club Bar. In seat food and beverage service is offered for some club seats, with food provided by Levy Restaurants and Buckhead Life Restaurant Group. Another plus for clubs: the seats are padded and extra wide.

Many club tickets offer “extras” such as an added food and beverage credit, VIP parking, and a VIP entrance to the game. If you’re looking to attend the game in style, then these are definitely the seats for you!

Lowers:

Lower level seats get fans up close and personal! If you want to be close to the action, check out the lower levels. Different sections offer many different views of the court, so fans can get just what they want.

• Lower Bowl Baseline:  Sections: 108-111 and 119-122 

If you’re looking to sit behind the basket, also know as baseline seats, sections 109-110 and 120-121 will put you behind the hoop. Sections 109-110 are closest to the visiting team’s bench.

Sections 120-121 will put you behind the basket closest to the Hawks bench. Baseline seats are very popular since they still provide a full view of the court, while costing a bit less than mid-court tickets

• Lower Bowl Center: Sections: 114-116

These seats offer the same view as the club seats, but tend to be a little cheaper. They are also behind the team’s benches instead of facing the benches.

Section 114 is directly behind the away team’s bench.

Section 115 is directly mid-court, for an advantageous view of the entire game.

Section 116 is directly behind the Atlanta Hawks bench.

• Lower Bowl Corner: Sections: 112-113, 117-118

While these seats are on the corner of the court, they still give a great view of the court. Also, depending on which team you’re looking to see, they provide an excellent view of the teams running out onto the court.

For example: if you want to see the Hawks run out of the tunnel, sections 117-118 are the sections to sit in.

If you’re looking to see the visitor’s team run out of the tunnel, sections 112-113 are the seats for you.

Middle Sections

200 level tickets may be a little further away from the action, but they still offer similar benefits to the 100 level, while the price is probably more friendly to your wallet. Additionally, it is also much easier to find a front row seat in these sections. Front row seats mean no one is standing in front of you, blocking your view!

• Middle Center: Sections: 210-213 
• Middle Baseline: Sections: 201-207, 216-222
• Middle Corner: Sections: 208-209 and 214-215

Upper Sections

Many have said that there is no bad seat in Philips Arena. Upper sections offer a birds-eye view of the entire court. These can be great last minute Atlanta Hawks tickets or a cheaper option if you don’t want to put a hole in your wallet.

• Upper Bowl Baseline: Sections: 301-306, 315-320:
• Upper Bowl Center: Sections: 307-314

Philips Arena Concert Seating Guide:

The concert seating chart is a bit different than the NBA seating chart. It can change depending on the performer. Big name performers will maximize the space and fill every seat possible, while other performers may have areas of the venue blocked off, or even a “pit” or general admission section.

A standard example of the concert seating chart is as follows:

Floor: Sections: 1-9

These seats are for fans are want to be as close as possible. Be prepared to stand, dance and sing during the entire show!

Lower 100s: Sections: 102-117 (Club: 102-107)

Lowers offer an excellent view of the performance, and the same club amenities apply as for Hawks games.

Lower 200s: 201-214

The 200 sections is still called “lower” but it is still the second level of seating. If you grab a seat in the first few rows of these sections, it could possibly be a better view than high rows in the 100 section.

A front row seat in a 200 section will offer fans a view of the entire stage, with no one standing or sitting directly in front and blocking the view.

Upper: Sections: 301-314, 407-414

Upper sections are always going to be the most affordable, and won’t break the bank as much as lowers. Many of these seats still give an excellent view of the performance!
