Atlanta is full of professional sports, including MLB, NFL, NBA and WNBA. In any given week, there are multiple games that fans can attend.
This week we are taking a look at the Atlanta Hawks vs. Chicago Bulls.
Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks have been on a hot streak lately! They were recently on a nine game winning streak, which is a record for franchise history. Unfortunately, the Hawks were upset by the Orlando Magic this past Saturday. The game kept fans on the edge of their seats an ended with a 99-100 score. This puts the Hawks at second place in the Southeast division.
The Hawks have a tough week ahead of them:
- vs. the Chicago Bulls, 12/15/2014. The Bulls have a 15-8 record.
- @ Cleveland Cavaliers 12/17/2014. The Cavaliers have a 13-9 record and a very loyal fanbase!
- @ Houston Rockets 12/20/2014. The Rockets’ 18-5 record, may not put them first in their division, but it’s still one of the best!
The Bulls have proven to be a pretty big rival against the Hawks, as the have won 6 straight games in their matchup history. The Hawks are hoping Paul Milsap and Al Horford can make some big plays and put some points on the board to end their unlucky streak against Chicago.
Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls are doing pretty well for themselves this season, with a 15-8 record so far, and are currently on a three game win streak. Derrick Rose is coming back from an ACL injury and starting to look like an elite player again. Friday night marked a win for the Bulls over the Portland Trailblazers, and maybe more importantly, marked Derrick Rose’s first 30-point game since suffering the injury. The downside for the Bulls is that center Joakim Noah is likely out for the game this evening, due to a lasting ankle injury.
Will the Hawks break the losing streak against the Chicago Bulls? Or will the Bulls prevail with a seventh straight win over the Hawks? Tune in for tip-off tonight at 7:30, or grab some last minute Atlanta Hawks tickets and head down to Philips Arena to see the action live!
