Let’s face it: most stockings don’t have a lot of room. Once you account for all the candy, there isn’t a ton of space for much else. That’s why we at Front Row Seats came up with a great idea for stocking stuffers: concert, theater and sports tickets!
Tickets are small, and stocking are a perfect spot for them. There are some great concerts and events coming in the new year, and any fan would be ecstatic to receive some of these tickets in their stocking!
Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus
The circus is coming to town! The world’s most famous circus, Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey, will make a stop at Philips Arena February 13-18. In 2015 they are honoring the Year of the Dragon with a dragon themed show! Kids (and adults) of all ages are sure to enjoy these amazing performances. Acrobatics, elephants, tigers, clowns… how could this not be fun? Just be careful, don’t eat too much cotton candy!
Wicked
The New York Times calls Wicked “Broadway’s Biggest Blockbuster.” The show has won a Grammy and three Tony awards! A show with this many accolades is definitely worth attending, and Wicked will be at the Fox Theatre February 18th-March 8th.
Many of the weekend performances have matinee and evening shows. Any Broadway fan will be delighted to get these tickets as a holiday gift, and see the untold story of Glenda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Maroon 5
Hearing Adam Levine and Maroon 5 sing “Sunday Morning Rain is Falling” could be a holiday gift in itself. But getting tickets to their Maroon 5 World Tour is even better!
The band is touring to promote their fifth album, “V,” with special guests Magic! and Rozzi Crane. They make a stop in Atlanta at Philips Arena on February 19th. There are still plenty of Maroon 5 tickets left on the secondary market!
Billy Joel
Billy Joel has not had a solo performance in Atlanta since 2007, but luckily he is coming back! Joel will perform at Philips Arena on February 28th. Many people don’t know that he is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist. If anyone has their doubts, just wait until Joel plays the famous “Piano Man,” and the entire arena will be on their feet and singing along.
Fleetwood Mac
This famous band came to Atlanta just this month, and put on a rocking performance. Front Row Seats voted their show as one of the best Atlanta concerts of 2014. For those who were disappointed to miss the show, there’s good news! Fleetwood Mac is coming back to Philips Arena on March 25th.
Atlanta is lucky to have the band perform twice in less than a year, as this is the first time the “classic five” has been back together in 16 years. The band has had an overwhelming amount of success since the 1970’s, and are still going strong to date.
If you’re struggling to find that perfect gift or stocking stuffer for you loved ones, check out some of these tickets. They are sure to be a hit, and luckily for the last minute shopper, instant downloads make having gifts in hand a snap!
