Philips Arena hosted some great concerts in 2014, and there are some exciting new shows to come in 2015! Check out the events we are most excited about in the coming months.
Chris Brown and Trey Songz featuring Tyga, February 3
Fans are excited for the 25-city Between The Sheets tour with Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and special guest Tyga! The show kicks off in Hampton Virginia, Brown’s home state, on January 28th. The tour stops at Philips Arena on February 3rd, at 7:30pm. Additional stops on the tour include Brooklyn, Detroit, Toronto and Washington, D.C., wrapping up in Los Angeles on March 8th.
Katt Williams, February 7
Katt Williams’ nationwide tour “Growth Spurt in 2013-14 was a success, so the comedian has decided to continue touring! The Born Again… Again tour stops in Atlanta on February 7th at 8:00pm. Get ready to laugh until you cry as Williams performs his comedy sketch on stage.
Maroon 5, February 19
Adam Levine may make the audience swoon with his good looks, but the band Maroon 5 will have the entire crowd on their feet dancing and singing along to their many hits. The band is on their World Tour 2015 in support of their new album, V. The platinum selling and Grammy Award winning band will make a stop in Atlanta on February 19 at 7:30pm. Magic! and Rozzi Crane will be on the tour as opening acts.
Billy Joel, February 28
Billy Joel is back! The legendary artist has not performed solo in Atlanta since 2007. Joel is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist. I can’t wait until he starts playing my personal favorite, “Piano Man.” Check out Billy Joel at Philips Arena on February 28th, the show starts at 8:00pm.
Ariana Grande, March 24
Ariana Grande is a 21-year old solo artist with a big voice, and an even bigger tour! The Honeymoon Tour kicks off in the United States in February, and Grande will be traveling to Canada and Europe shortly after. She will perform in Atlanta on March 24th, with special guest Rixton! Don’t miss the opening act, the show starts at 7:30pm.
