Some may think it is a bit early, but now is the perfect time to start planning your trip down to Orlando, FL to check out Braves spring training. This year, spring training starts for the Atlanta Braves on March 4th, 2015 and runs through April 4th, 2015. Opening day at Turner Field is shortly after, on April 10th.
Purchase Your Tickets in Advance
If you’re headed to Braves spring training, you’ll need your tickets first. Depending on who the Braves are playing that day, many games tend to sell out. The sun can be brutal in Florida during March and April. Be sure you bring spring/summer clothing, along with hats and sunglasses. Don’t forget the sunscreen: sunburns can ruin the rest of your trip.
Also remember your walking shoes. Walking around Disney can be tiring, and you don’t want any blisters.

Attending a Braves spring training game at Champion Stadium can be pretty cost effective but other activities around the complex can be quite expensive. Many will want to visit Walt Disney World or Universal Studios while in the area.
