With so many fantastic events in Atlanta every month, how can you possibly pick a favorite? NBA, MLB, beer festivals, and concerts are all readily available to attend! Check out some of our favorite events in the city this April!
Jazmine Sullivan
April 7th- The Tabernacle
Jazmine Sullivan’s raspy, powerful voice is enough to bring any fan to their feet. When she came to Atlanta last year, tickets quickly sold out at the box office. Luckily for Atlantans, Sullivan is making another appearance!
On April 7th, Jazmine will perform at The Tabernacle in Downtown Atlanta. The venue is fitting, as The Tabernacle used to be an old church, and Jazmine Sullivan has a gospel inspired sound. Don’t miss this powerhouse of a singer perform April 7th, starting at 7:30pm!
2015 Atlanta Braves Opening Day
April 10th- Turner Field
The Braves are back! Opening Day is an exhilarating experience for players and fans alike. The Braves home opener is less than two weeks away, and Atlanta Braves fans couldn’t be more excited. Braves Opening Day tickets are very popular, so get them while they’re still available. The first pitch will be thrown at 7:35 on April 10th, which will be one of two Opening Days left at Turner Field.
The Braves will be moving their talents to SunTrust Park in Cobb County for the 2017 season. There are many reasons to attend Opening Day, but this is definitely a great one. Turner Field is an iconic baseball stadium, and it will surely be missed!
Sweetwater 420 Fest
April 17th- Centennial Olympic Park
Sweetwater 420 Fest is upon us! Not only does the festival have a great lineup of artists performing musically, but there are a lot of extras this year! There will be a Sweetwater 420 Experience tent, along with a Relapse Comedy tent. And don’t forget the amazing acts set to perform during the three-day festival:
- Snoop Dogg
- 311
- Primus
- Slightly Stoopid
- Delta Rae
- The Revivalists
- …and many, many more!
This year the festival is being held in Centennial Olympic Park, which should be a fun venue as it’s in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Of course there will be plenty of great food trucks and beer tents available!
