The boys are back in town! That is, The Atlanta Braves are back. Fans across the nation are excited for the return of baseball, and Atlanta is no different. Braves fans are gearing up for the 2015 season, and you should too.
2015 Braves Opening Series
Opening Day for the Atlanta Braves was a success! While the weather wasn’t the best, the game was still played. After an hour and a half rain delay, the tarp was taken off the baseball diamond and the Braves took the field.
Turner Field was packed on Opening Day, as loyal fans waited out the storm to see the Braves play their first home game of 2015. The team looked good on Friday night and earned a 5-3 win. This included a home run in the bottom of the first by newcomer Cameron Maybin.
The Braves continued their winning streak on Saturday night with another 5-3 win against the Mets. Unfortunately the streak ended on Sunday afternoon, when the Mets finally got the best of Atlanta.

Braves 2015 Season
The Braves have many exciting games and promotional days during the season. The team plays great opponents such as the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and World Series Champions San Francisco Giants. They also have a plethora of giveaways including magnetic schedules, t-shirts, tote bags, and fan-favorite bobbleheads! Don’t miss exciting promotional nights such as Girls’ Night Out, Bark in the Park, Yoga Day, Movie Night, and Friday Night Fireworks!

The Atlanta Braves will move to Suntrust Park for the 2017 season. While many are excited for the new, technologically advanced stadium and Suntrust 360 club, its bittersweet to say goodbye to Turner Field. Be sure to catch some games this season at Turner Field, as it will be one of the last opportunities before the big move to Cobb County!
