The 2015 Falcons Schedule
The Falcons have an exciting schedule this year. Of course they play the normal NFC South opponents: the Saints, Panthers and Buccaneers. However every new season brings new opponents, as teams outside in separate divisions don’t usually play eachother in consecutive years. Check out some of the Falcons’ other opponents this year:
- Tennesse Titans (Pre-Season)
- Baltimore Ravens (Pre-Season)
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Houston Texans
- Washington Redskins
- Indianapolis Colts
- Minnesota Vikings
Promotional Days at the Georgia Dome
Although we’re not exactly sure of the promotions yet, the 2015 Falcons season will surely host many giveaways at the Dome! We have seen plenty of great freebies, such as flags, towels, and scarves. If you’re looking to win something before the games, check out Falcons Landing. The State Farm Falcons Landing opens three hours prior to kick-off each home game and is completely free! Falcons Landing provides the perfect spot to get revved up with your fellow fans, and possibly win some prizes!
New Atlanta Stadium
2015-16 will be one of the last seasons played in the Georgia Dome. Scheduled to open in 2017, the New Atlanta Stadium will be home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta’s new MLS team, Atlanta United FC. The new venue will also host events such as the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff game, the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, and the NCAA Men’s Final Four, as well as many exciting musical acts. This venue will be state of the art, featuring a retractable roof!
For anyone who is partial to the current venue, the Georgia Dome, be sure to grab tickets to a 2015 Falcons game, as this is sure to be one of the last seasons ever played in the dome.
