The fabulous Ms. Lauryn Hill is set to perform live at the Chastain Park Amphitheater this Friday, May 6.
Hill’s unconventional approach to hip hop and R&B has made her a certified icon that is recognized throughout the entire world. Although she has performed in front of live audiences for over twenty years, she has only released one studio album and one live record, which speaks directly to the type of deep-rooted connection she makes with her fans wherever she goes.

Tour Reviews
Greensboro, NC
This was one of the best performances I have ever seen, point blank. Lauryn has one of the most amazing voices I have ever heard live and I highly recommend seeing her before she either goes back to prison or flat out quits the music business!
Favorite Moment: Every moment, from start to end.
Greensboro, NC
This was the third time I have seen Lauryn Hill live and she just continues to get better and better over time.
Her voice is absolutely amazing, so full of soul, pain, and tenderness. Her band and associated DJ complimented her acoustic performance and added a unique flavor to the show. Although she was a bit late, she stayed longer than expected to make up for the missed time. She made a huge effort to connect with the audience, speaking directly to individuals, taking song requests, and going through her personal story.
It’s been a while since she has come to the area, so I definitely couldn’t miss my opportunity to see her. If you have the chance to go see Hill perform, I highly recommend that you do so.
