Atlanta Symphony Hall
Gillian Welch – Saturday, August 5: Gillian Welch is a mixture of bluegrass, country, and americana. Welch is widely known as a producer and performer on tracks of the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. Performing with her musical partner, guitarist David Rawlings, the pair put on quite the show. The duo will perform the entirety of their “The Harrow & The Harvest” album at the Atlanta Symphony Hall.
Lyle Lovett – Saturday, August 19: Lyle Lovett has made 14 albums over his extensive career, winning four Grammy Awards along the way. A show like this is must-see! The country superstar will perform his many hits at the Atlanta Symphony Hall this August.

Straight No Chaser – Thursday, August 3: Straight No Chaser is a professional acapella group. The 9-man group rose to fame in 1998 when their “The 12 Days of Christmas” YouTube video went viral. Now, Straight No Chaser is an international sensation! For this tour, they are performing alongside Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox, with Jon McLaughlin.
Australian Pink Floyd Show – Saturday, August 12: Australian Pink Floyd is a Pink Floyd tribute band formed in 1988. The show mimics the original band’s style, with lasers, inflatables, and a large display screen. This show features all the classics, so if you’re feeling nostalgic, check out The Australian Pink Floyd Show!
Umphrey’s McGee – Friday, August 18: Compared to Phish and the Grateful Dead, Umphrey’s McGee is what is known as a “jam band.” The band experiments with many musical styles, including rock, metal, funk, jazz, blues, electronic, bluegrass, and folk.
Lakewood Amphitheatre
John Mayer – Thursday, August 10: John Mayer is known for hits such as “Daughters,” “Gravity,” and “Half of My Heart.” This Grammy Award-winning artist is sure to have fans singing along at Lakewood Amphitheatre. The Search for Everything Tour, also featuring The Night Game, has been reviewed as memorable and emotional.
Matchbox 20 & Counting Crows – Sunday, August 13: Matchbox Twenty and the Counting Crows may have risen to fame in the 1990’s but their music is still just as good today! Fans are sure to go wild when “3AM” by Matchbox Twenty and “Mr. Jones” by Counting Crows are performed! The two bands put as much heart as ever into their music on the A Brief History of Everything tour.
