Due to new social distancing rules, many live events have been put on hold. This has left music fans yearning for a live show! Several stay at home concerts have already been performed by big name artists over Facebook, Instagram and other social media outlets. Now, artists have upped the ante with a new idea: Drive-In Concerts. Fans can drive to a venue, and listen to a live show from their vehicle. Keith Urban and DJ D-Nice have already performed drive-in shows with success. And, it’s not just Drive-In Concerts, comedians have gotten in on the mobile event trend as well!

Facts About Drive-In Shows

Drive-in concert ticket prices range from $20-$100 per vehicle.
Venues tend to have limited space. Smaller venues may have only 25-50 spots while larger venues boast over 500 vehicle spots.
Tickets sell out quickly, especially for well-known artists.
Some venues have concessions, while some venues allow fans to bring their own coolers.
Most venues operate on a “first come first serve” basis for parking spots, similar to general admission concert venues.
Smaller cars may get preference to park in front rows, as they won’t obstruct views.
At many venues, fans can tune into an FM station to sync up to the show. Alternatively, venues may use traditional speakers.
Fans will likely be prohibited from leaving their cars, tailgating, etc, to promote social distancing rules.
