The Atlanta Braves have an exciting weekend planned at SunTrust Park. Not only is there a three-game weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers, but it is also Alumni Weekend! The Braves have some great activities planned. Check out this fun opportunity!
Atlanta Braves Alumni Weekend
Friday, August 10 – 7:35 PM
- The Atlanta Braves will honor Hall of Fame 3B, Chipper Jones before the game. Check out the Chipper Jones Pregame Ceremony before the first pitch is thrown.
- Chipper Jones’ Hall of Fame plaque will be on display from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm in The Battery Atlanta Plaza! Fans will have an opportunity to see #10’s Hall of Fame plaque and take photos.
- The first 20,000 fans through the gate will receive a Chipper Jones Hall of Fame Replica Plaque at the gate! Arrive early for this limited keepsake.
- Alumni Autographs will be available from 6-7pm throughout SunTrust Park! Come early to meet some of the Braves greats from the past, grab an autograph and a photo opportunity.
- Don’t miss Friday Night Fireworks at SunTrust Park! After the game, there will be a magical display of pyrotechnics above the field.
Saturday, August 11 – 7:10 PM
- At 4:30 pm the Braves Legend Parade begins! Several Alumni will parade down the streets of The Battery Atlanta to greet fans.
- Braves Alumni will play a softball Home Run Derby pregame at 6:15 pm. Arrive early to witness this fun event!
- All Braves Legends will walk the red carpet and get introduced before the game. This is a great opportunity to see up to 60 Braves players from the past.
Sunday, August 12 – 1:35 PM
- Alumni photos are available Sunday before the game. Head down to the warning track to snap a photo with your favorite Braves alumni!
- Before the game, visit the Atlanta Battery Plaza to meet the Atlanta Braves newest mascot, Blooper! Take a photo and grab some free food samples while you’re at it.
- After the game, kids 14 and under can run the bases just like their favorite Braves players! Line up postgame for this special event.
