The Atlanta Braves face the San Diego Padres Tuesday night at Turner Field. The first 20,000 lucky fans through the gates will receive a David Justice bobblehead! These giveaways tend to be highly sought after, and can even become collectibles. You won’t want to miss your chance to grab a bobblehead from one of the most iconic Braves players in the 90s.
David Justice
David Justice, an outfielder and designated hitter, made his Major League Baseball debut as an Atlanta Brave in May of 1989. He would finish the season with 28 home runs and claim the National League’s Rookie of the Year Award. Justice played seven more seasons for the Atlanta Braves, helping the team win a World Series in 1995. His home run in Game 6 of the World Series was the only run in that game, producing a win and a championship for the Braves.

Justice was traded away to the Cleveland Indians in 1997 after a shoulder injury. He went on to play for the New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics, before retiring in 2002.

Promotional Nights at Turner Field
The Braves host many great promotional events throughout the season, but there’s no contest: the bobbleheads are definitely the most popular. Be sure to arrive to Turner Field early if you’re hoping to get some free memorabilia. Game time is at 7:10 pm, and the gates to Turner Field open 90 minutes before first pitch. To avoid waiting in long lines at the box office, be sure to buy your Braves game tickets ahead of time. Additionally, purchasing a parking pass in advance can save a lot of time, as your spot will be guaranteed.
Can’t make it to the game on Tuesday? No worries! Check out the game on Wednesday, June 10th. As part of the Braves’ Summer Concert Series, there will be a free post game show by Charli XCX on the field!
