Atlanta Braves Opening Day is just over two weeks away. Fans will be excited to be back in the stands at Truist Park this year. In 2020, sadly fans were not allowed in the park. Soon, players will take the field in Atlanta, and the season will begin! Head down to Truist Park for some exciting Braves games this April!
Braves Opening Week 2021
The 2021 season begins on Friday, April 9th. A full week of Atlanta Braves games will follow:
- Friday, April 9 – Braves vs. Phillies, 7:20 pm (Friday Night Fireworks)
- Saturday, April 10 – Braves vs. Phillies, 7:20 pm
- Sunday, April 11 – Braves vs. Phillies, 7:08 pm (Alumni Sunday)
- Monday, April 12 – Braves vs. Marlins, 7:20 pm
- Tuesday, April 13 – Braves vs. Marlins, 7:20 pm
- Wednesday, April 14 – Braves vs. Marlins, 7:20 pm
- Thursday, April 15 – Braves vs. Marlins, 12:20 pm
For fans who can’t make it to Opening Day, there are plenty of Braves games to attend in the first week of April.
Braves Opening Day 2021
Opening Day 2021 is Friday, April 9th. First pitch is at 7:20pm, and the first homestand’s opponent will be the Philadelphia Phillies. Atlanta Braves have some excitement in store for Opening Day 2021. :
- Gate Giveaway: All fans in attendance will receive a magnetic Atlanta Braves schedule at the gate. Keep track of Braves games all year long!
- Friday Night Fireworks: Some of the best fireworks in Georgia will light up the sky on Opening Day! Stay in your seat after the game for an amazing pyrotechnic show.
Social Distancing and Pod Seating on Opening Day
Things will be a bit different this year as opposed to other years, due to adherence to health and safety guidelines:
- Truist Park will only be at 33% capacity for the month of April.
- Pod Seating Only. Pods will be at least 6 feet apart, and mainly in groups of 2 and 4.
- Fans are encouraged to maintain social distancing. Signage will be displayed around the park.
- Mobile tickets only, as well as contactless ordering and payment.
- Staff at Truist Park will follow stringent sanitizing practices.
Tips for Opening Day at Truist Park
- Purchase your tickets ahead of time. With less space at the ballpark, tickets will be harder to come by. The season starts in just a few weeks, secure your seat!
- Purchase a Braves parking pass. Spots are limited, and it’s always best to be prepared in advance. Less parking lots are open in April than normal.
- Head to the park early. There may be traffic on Opening Day. Don’t miss first pitch!
- Be sure your mobile device is charged. All tickets are electronic this year, and must be displayed on a mobile device.
