On the defensive side of the ball, the team displayed a number of habits that forces fans to consider whether or not head coach Dan Quinn’s defense-first philosophy is catching on for Atlanta. The team as a whole started the game playing sloppy and was never able to put together an impressive looking drive against Cleveland’s struggling offense.
The Falcons do have a younger roster that’s packed full with talent and athleticism, it just seems to lack the type of focus it needs to become a front runner in the NFC South division.
