Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers
This past Sunday was a fight to stay alive in the NFC South. The Atlanta Falcons ousted the New Orleans Saints, and continue to stay alive in the playoff picture. The Carolina Panthers also ended Sunday afternoon with a win, effectively putting them in first place in the NFC South and also keeping their playoff hopes alive. The Falcons and the Panthers will battle it out this Sunday in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome to see who will win the title!
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have not had a great year. With only six wins under their belt, and nine losses, this doesn’t seem to be a playoff team. However, the NFC South is trailing behind the rest of the divisions in the National Football League, and the Falcons are still in the hunt to top their division and clinch a playoff spot. The Falcons are thus far undefeated in the NFC South, with just one win outside their division. One more win against their division rivals will insure them a spot at the top.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers have topped the NFC South with one game left in the regular season. With six wins, eight losses and one tie, the Panthers are also not looking like a playoff team. Cam Newton has been banged up for much of the year with a rib injury, and even suffered a back injury from a car accident. However, the Panthers have been on a hot streak lately, winning the last three of their games. In those three games they beat two of their NFC South rivals, the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This Sunday will almost be like a playoff game in itself: the battle for the NFC South title! The team that wins this game will be guaranteed playoff game. Tickets are still available on the secondary market, but as soon as the two teams won their games on Sunday, fans began buying! If you’re looking to see this divisional match-up choose your seats now!
