Important Facts About Opening Match 2020
Tickets are Mobile Entry Only
All tickets are mobile only! You must load your ticket in your Atlanta United app, Ticketmaster app, Apple or Google Wallet. Additionally, you may log into the Atlanta United or Ticketmaster portal on your phone’s web browser. It’s important to have your tickets loaded and ready! Screenshots are no longer accepted at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Be sure to fully charge your device, and have your account logged in on your mobile device to enter the stadium quickly and efficiently.
Pre-Purchase Parking
Parking can be tough in Downtown Atlanta, especially around Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Many parking lots sell out before match day. The best course of action is to purchase parking ahead of time. Be sure to check your parking ticket; some need to be printed. Download the Waze app to navigate to your parking lot on match day and avoid any road closures. For those looking to tailgate, check out the Home Depot Backyard, or Centennial Yards Lot B, formerly known as Lot A/The Gulch.
Clear Bag Policy is in Effect
Mercedes-Benz Stadium only allows clear bags, or small clutch type purses. Be sure to check out the Clear Bag Policy:
“Fans will be able to carry the following bags:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.
-Non-Clear bags no larger than 4.5 x 6.5.
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.”
For those who need to check their bag: Bag Valets are available for a fee at Gates 1 and 2.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is Cashless
Cash is no longer accepted at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Fans must use a card. There are reverse-ATMs available on site for fans who need to exchange cash for a temporary card.
Supporters Section
The Atlanta United Supporters Section is a great place for rowdy and proud fans! Many fans stand the entire game, wave flags, chant and viking clap. This section is general admission, so seats are first come first serve. Be prepared for a loud, exciting experience in this section.
Full Stadium
For the Opening Match, the full stadium is open! This means that seats are available all the way up to the 300 level.
