Opening Day is almost upon us for the Atlanta United FC 2018 season. With just two days to go until Matchday, Atlanta United fans are gearing up for a fun game this Sunday. Atlanta United Opening Day Parking
Parking Lots at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will open at 10:00 AM this Sunday. Fans will be out early tailgating and preparing for the match. Purchase parking passes early to ensure a good space. And be sure to check your parking pass to confirm whether your lot allows tailgating. Our favorite lot is Lot A, as it is close to the stadium AND allows for tailgating!
Atlanta United Opening Day Gate Times
Mercedes-Benz Stadium will open its gates at 1:00 PM on Opening Day. This allows for fans to roam the stadium and check out the excellent surroundings! There are tons of great food and drink opportunities to take advantage of in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Head towards the Front Porch area at Gates 2 and 4 to meet other excited fans and feel the energy of the crowd before the game! The Front Porch features Bud Light Build-A-Bar, awesome display vehicles, and food and beverage for purchase!
Additionally, Molly B’s will open to members at 12:00 PM. Members can enter via Gate 2 to enjoy this upscale tailgate. Once the match starts, the restaurant is open to non-members.
Team Arrival and the Supporters March
Head to the Front Porch for a little pregame excitement: the team arrives at 1:30 PM! Afterward, the Supporters March begins! Supporters will march to Mercedes-Benz Stadium at 1:45 PM and enter through the Front Porch at 2:00 PM. This is a raucous, excited crowd complete with music, drums, and flags! The Supporters March is a sight to see!
Opening Day Kickoff
Be sure to head to your seats early, fans won’t want to miss the first kickoff of the 2018 season! The Atlanta United vs. D.C. United kickoff is promptly at 3:00 PM. The game is two halves, lasting a total of 90 minutes.
