The Atlanta United Football Club was hoping to grace the field of their new home, Mercedez-Benz Stadium, this coming July. Unfortunately, due to construction delays, Atlanta United FC will not get to play in the stadium as early as originally planned. As their brand new field may not be ready until August, or possibly even September.
Originally scheduled to play in the new stadium on July 30, the game has been relocated and rescheduled to July 29 at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The club still has plenty of exciting matches coming up! Check out Atlanta’s professional soccer team at one of their upcoming games:

August and September’s games are subject to change depending on the construction progress of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Fans are keeping their fingers crossed that the Atlanta United FC will appear on the brand new field sooner rather than later.
The new stadium is sure to be bigger, better and more advanced than anything fans have seen before. If the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is anything like the Atlanta Braves new home, SunTrust Park, it is sure to be nothing short of magical, and well worth the wait!
