SEC Championship
The rankings are in and the SEC Championship is headed to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta! Fans of several teams have been on pins and needles waiting to see who the champions would be. After this past Saturday, the match-up has been set: Alabama will play Missouri for the ultimate honor in SEC football.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are ranked #1 in the nation. Alabama dethroned Florida State at the top of the Associated Press rankings after a 55-44 win over No. 20 Auburn on Saturday night
The Missouri Tigers are ranked #14 in the nation. Missouri secured a spot in the title game for the second straight year with a 21-14 win over Arkansas on Friday
There are still plenty of tickets available on the secondary market for this match-up, which kicks off at 4pm on Saturday.
So You Think You Can Dance
This amazing show is in its 11th season, and it’s heading to Atlanta this weekend! The top 10 finalists will make their way across North America, performing in more than 70 cities, as part of the 2014 tour. The show’s lineup includes the following finalists: Bridget Whitman, Casey Askew, Emilio Dosal, Jacque LeWarne, Jessica Richens, Ricky Ubeda, Rudy Abreu, Tanisha Belnap, Valerie Rockey and Zack Everhart. You can catch these amazing performances Saturday night, 8pm at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Denver Nuggets
Head to Philips Arena on Sunday afternoon to stay out of the cold and catch an Atlanta Hawks game. The Hawks play the Denver Nuggets tipping off at 3:30pm. The Atlanta Hawks are on a hot streak and rank 2nd in their divison with an 11-2 record. The Denver Nuggets are doing pretty well themselves with a 9-9 record and rank 2nd in their own division.
A Christmas Carol
Everyone’s favorite Christmas story, A Christmas Carol, will be performed at the Alliance Theater through Christmas Eve. This marks the 25th year the Alliance has been staging this Dickens classic! Don’t miss Ebenezer Scrooge witness his own past, present and future as he learns an important holiday lesson. What better way to get in the holiday spirit than with A Christmas Carol? The show runs all weekend with matinee and evening showtimes.
