It’s finally the month of May and baseball season is well underway. The Braves have had a great start to the season, with several wins under their belt. The Atlanta Braves currently rank second in the Nation League East. And, after two weeks full of away games, the Braves are finally headed home! Get ready for some exciting Braves games in May, the Braves vs. Giants series kicks off this weekend!
Braves vs. Giants: Friday
During the first home series in May, the Braves will host the Giants at SunTrust Park. Friday is going to be an exciting game!
- It’s Star Wars theme night at SunTrust Park! Be prepared for Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and lightsabers to infiltrate the park.
- Also, it’s a bobblehead game! Be one of the first 20,000 fans through the gates on Friday and receive a very special Star Wars bobblehead. The keepsake feature Ozzie Albies as “Ozzie Calrissian.”
- Additionally, it’s Friday, which means… Friday Night Fireworks! Stay in your seats after the Braves vs. Giants game for an amazing display of dazzling pyrotechnics above the field.
Braves vs. Giants: Saturday
Atlanta has had the perfect weather for a nighttime ballgame lately! Head down to SunTrust Park this Saturday night for an awesome weekend activity. And of course, the Braves are offering yet another giveaway:
- Saturday features a tote bag giveaway sponsored by MLB Network. This Braves tote bag will be available to the first 40,000 fans through the gates.
- And, Saturday is Girls Night Out at SunTrust Park! Enjoy a pregame party at the Coca-Cola Roxy before the game along with 80’s themed live music!
Braves vs. Giants: Sunday
Sunday games are always special at SunTrust Park! The Battery Atlanta will be bustling with activity, and the Braves always have something special lined up for fans.
- Sundays are Alumni Sundays! Braves greats from the past will be available for autographs one hour before the game. Visit the Georgia Power Pavillion to see Ryan Klesko, Maquis Grissom, Marvin Freeman, and Brad Clontz.
- Every Sunday, Kids Run the Bases! Children 14 & under can run the bases just like their favorite players. Simply sign up for the Kids Club to enjoy this amazing activity.
- Also, Blooper the mascot will be available for a Meet and Greet. Before the game, head down to the Battery Atlanta to meet the Braves’ newest mascot.
Braves vs. Giants: Tickets
There are a lot of fun activities lined up for the Braves vs. Giants series this weekend. Tickets for these games tend to sell out, especially bobblehead games.
