There are several great events in Atlanta that are perfect to see with your family! Check out some of these kid-friendly shows in January.
Go to a Show
Atlanta is home to one of the best theatre’s in the country, the Fabulous Fox Theatre. The Fox is filled with family friend events throughout January. Cobb Energy Center is also joining in on the fun and will be the home to Snow White Ballet.
Newsies, Fox Theatre, January 20-25
This great musical by Disney is perfect for the entire family. The Newsies is a fantastic show based on a true story that will have your family singing along.
Tuck Everlasting, Alliance Theater, January 21-February 22
Based on the children’s book published in 1975, this classic story explores immortality. The show will be running for a month at the Alliance Theater in midtown Atlanta.
Snow White, Atlanta Ballet Fellowship, Cobb Energy Center, February 14-15
Snow White, presented by the Atlanta Ballet Fellowship is a show designed for younger audiences. This is a great way to introduce kids to dance and art while they see one of their favorite stories unfold on stage.
See a Game
Going to a sporting event with your family is a great way to bond and give your kids a great experience. Their first game is a memory they will never forget! Luckily Atlanta has some great professional sports teams: the Falcons, Hawks and Braves.
NBA Season is in Full Swing
There are some great Atlanta Hawks games to attend with your family. If you choose to sit in the 200 or 300 levels, it can even be quite cost effective. Check out some exciting Atlanta Hawks games during the weekends:

Baseball season begins in April!
What better way to spend time with your family than viewing America’s favorite pastime? Atlanta Braves tickets are already on sale, and the team as some exciting opponents this year, such as the Boston Red Sox in June and the New York Yankees in August. Kids even get to run the bases on Sundays!

There are many great Atlanta attractions to see, even if you’ve lived in Atlanta your entire life. Check out some of the amazing and world class attractions our city has to offer:
