The Atlanta Braves continue to celebrate their final historic season at Turner Field by kicking off one of the most popular events of the year, which also happens to feature two of the most beloved players of all time.
When fans arrive to watch the Braves take on the Miami Marlins on May 28, they will receive a FREE “Chipper Rescues Freddie” ATV Bobblehead!
Free Bobblehead Day At Turner Field
When the city of Atlanta was hit with the infamous ice storm affectionately known as, “Snowpocolypse” in 2014, Freddie Freeman found himself trapped in the city’s traffic gridlock, much like thousands of other residents.
Fortunately for Freeman, one of the Braves most beloved players of all-time Chipper Jones just happened to be available. Jones decided to “brave” the elements with his state-of-the-art four-wheeler and rescue his former teammate.
With this, the first 20,000 fans that arrive to Turner Field on May 28 will be able to take home a free “Chipper Rescues Freddie” ATV bobblehead that commemorates the heroic moment.
