The Atlanta Braves have clinched the National League East. They will now head to the NLDS playoffs. This will be the second season running in which the Braves are National League East champions! This is Atlanta’s 19th division title. The Braves will soon appear in the NLDS playoffs with at least two home games. Atlanta United will play the St. Louis Cardinals for the tile.
MLB Playoffs 2019
- The Wild Card rounds are a one-game knockout. The highest ranking team in the National League will play the Wild Card winner.
- The Division Series a five-game series. The four winners of the Division Series will head to the Championship Series.
- The Championship Series is a best-of-seven series. The two winners of this series make it to the World Series!
- The World Series is also a best-of-seven series, which will be played in late October.
NLDS Playoffs at SunTrust Park
The Atlanta Braves will host at least two home games during the NLDS playoffs. The playoff schedule at SunTrust Park is as follows:

- Wednesday, October 9, 2019 (Time TBD): Atlanta Braves vs. St. Louis Cardinals – Home Game 3
If one of the teams has won three of the five games, the last game in the series will not played, as it will not be needed. The full schedule for the NLDS will be set shortly!
