So you’re headed to an Atlanta Braves game, or you’ve just finished watching the Braves crush it at Turner Field. An important part of any baseball experience is the food! If you’re not planning to gorge on some of the fantastic food at Turner Field, or enjoy pre-game brunch at the 755 Club. Then there are some great restaurants near Turner Field.
Daddy D’z BBQ Joynt
Don’t be fooled by the exterior of this little barbecue shack! Not only has the restaurant been featured on the Food Channel, but Daddy D’z has also been voted Best BBQ in Atlanta. This unassuming restaurant has some delicious food, and even features live blues bands on certain days.
Their motto, “We ain’t pretty, but we’re good” rings true, as there isn’t a bad thing on the menu (Don’t skip out on the sides, the macaroni and cheese and candied yams are amazing!). Another great perk: It’s within walking distance to Turner Field!
Hours:
Sunday-Thursday: 11:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Friday-Saturday: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM

Six Feet Under
If you’re looking for restaurants near Turner Field, your best bet may be Memorial Drive in Grant Park. There is a line of great restaurants within a few miles of the field.
Recently named among Travel + Leisure magazine’s Top 30 American Outdoor Bars, the view at Six Feet Under in Atlanta does not disappoint! The seafood restaurant gets its name due to the fact that it sits directly across from historical Oakland cemetery. The menu has options for all types of diners, including a great beer and cocktal list. Grab a seat at one of the rooftop tables or rooftop bar, and enjoy the amazing view!
Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 11:00 AM – 1:00 AM
Friday-Saturday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Tin Lizzy’s
On the same strip as Six Feet Under, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina is an excellent option. Tin Lizzy’s describes their food as “FlexMex” which is Tex-Mex with a little extra flair! The cantina boasts delicious margaritas, skillets, and a wide selection of interesting tacos (Low Country Taco and Southern Comfort Taco? Yum!). Not only does Tin Lizzy’s offer great food and drinks, the rooftop seating offers a great view, with occasional live music!

Ria’s Bluebird
Ria’s Bluebird is yet another great dining option located in Grant Park. The only catch: It’s only open 8 AM – 3 PM! So Ria’s Bluebird is definitely a great option for breakfast or brunch before Saturday and Sunday day games. Fan favorites include biscuits and gravy along with amazing buttermilk pancakes. Fun fact about this little spot: it used to be a rundown liquor store before Chef Ria Pell turned it into one of the best brunch spots in Atlanta!

Daily: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
