Atlanta Braves spring training 2021 is here! The Braves are in full swing at CoolToday Park in Venice, Florida. Spring Training is a little different this year, so check out our tips and tricks for this year’s games!
What to Know About Braves Spring Training 2021
1.) Limited tickets are available to all games. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only about 25% of the stadium will be seated. It’s best to purchase seats ahead of time, due to the limited amount of tickets in available.
2.) All tickets are mobile. Ensure your mobile device is charged, and your tickets are loaded! Sign into the Atlanta Braves Spring Training Account Manager to access tickets.
3.) Pod seating is the new way. All tickets must be purchased in pods. And all pods will be socially distant.
3.) Teams are a little different this year. The Braves will be playing the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
4.) Games may be shorter, as few as 5 innings, depending on the game.
5.) The Braves are no longer playing in Disney! The new venue is CoolToday Park in Venice, Florida.
About CoolToday Park
CoolToday Park opened in March 24, 2019 with an Exhibition game. The 2020 spring training was slated to be the first full season at the new venue, however it was cut short. The 2021 season may be a little different, but it will be the first full season at CoolToday Park.
The Tomahawk Tiki Bar stays open year round and offers several great food and beverage options. They even promote $14 bucket sized cocktails. For spring training 2021, the Tiki Bar will be open from 11am to 8pm. Fans can head to the park early to hang out at the restaurant.
The Coca-Cola Berm is a general admission area in left field. Fans may bring their own chairs or blankets, and it will be open in the 2021 season. Social distancing guidelines will still be in place!
There are two parking lots at CoolToday Park: one for standard vehicles and the other is for RVs and buses. Parking lots open 3 hours prior to the game.
