Turner Field was built for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Following the Olympics, the venue was converted to become the home of the Atlanta Braves. In 1997, the Braves moved from Fulton County Stadium to The Ted. Last year, the club announced that the baseball team will move to the new Suntrust Park in 2017.
Even though there is an impending move to Cobb County in the future, the Braves have two more seasons at Turner Field. As a Braves fan, it’s important to know where you want to sit at the Braves stadium!

Shaded Seats
The heat in Atlanta during the summer can be brutal! Be sure to wear sunscreen, and if you want to stay out of the sun, follow these tips:
- Avoid the first baseline and outfield sections! These seats are in the sun a majority of the time.
- Terrace level seats, especially infields are your best bet if you’re looking for shade. Specifically, sections 206 – 218.
- Club level seats also offer a great deal of shade during the game since they’re below the overhang.
755 Club Access
Not all seats are created equal! 755 Club access is granted to season ticket holders and members only. Also, some single game tickets can be purchased with 755 Club access included!
Check the bottom left side of your ticket to see if you have club access. Front Row Seats offers several seats with access to the VIP club.
